Tom Chapman

Hi! I'm Tom, and I teach both classical and electric guitar, drums, bass, and theory. I have recently graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music, studying under Craig Ogden. At the RNCM, I had the opportunity of playing to performers like Xuefei Yang and Gabriel Bianco. I have been playing for 16 years, and I love performing and teaching.

I have been privately teaching both in-person and online lessons for just over 7 years. I have taught over 40 students, ranging in lessons in Guitar (classical / electric), Drums, Bass, and Theory. I have been a gigging musician since 15 years old, earning money playing in various pit-bands, opera orchestras, classical guitar / band performances, and session work. 

Recently I have performed in a pantomime pit-band in Southport, I was part of the first performance of Zakiya Leeming's opera 'Dangerous Matter', and released an album with my band 'Signifying Nothing'.
