Zachary Boyd

Hey, I’m Zach, a professional guitarist and musician with over 13 years of live performance experience. I picked up the guitar at age seven and have been dedicated to developing my craft ever since.

That passion led me to study at  Leeds Conservatoire, where I earned a BA (Hons) in Music, specialising in Guitar and Bass performance. During my studies, I gained extensive experience collaborating with professional musicians across a wide range of genres, including pop, rock, metal, blues, jazz and soul.

Today, I work as a gigging and recording musician as well as a music tutor based in Manchester. I’ve taught over 400 students and continue to refine my skills both on stage and in the studio.

I offer friendly, personalised lessons in electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar and ukulele for beginners through to advanced players. My teaching focuses on real songs, strong technique, and steady, confidence-building progress in a supportive environment.
