Joshua Man
Joshua Man is a Drum Tutor and Percussionist based in Manchester, teaching students aged 5 to 48 across a wide range of styles including jazz, rock, funk, Latin, and contemporary music. He currently tutors at Manchester Communication Academy and Anthem Music School, supporting learners from beginner level through to GCSE and Trinity Rock & Pop exams.
Active in the Manchester music scene and experienced in youth music facilitation, Joshua has performed with ensembles such as the Munch Manship Big Band and delivered workshops at Manchester Youth Zone. He trained at ELAM and later earned a BA (Hons) in Jazz Drums from Leeds Conservatoire.
Joshua is fully enhanced DBS-checked and is known for his patient, adaptable teaching style that helps students build confidence, technique, and their own musical voice.
