Amy Browne

Hiya, I’m Amy! I’m a Manchester-based electric and upright bass player, having recently graduated from the University of Manchester’s music course. I regularly perform at venues such as Band on the Wall, Matt & Phreds, The Bread Shed and YES and am a stylistically versatile bass player with a training in jazz and pop, currently gigging a variety of genres and acts in the Manchester music scene. I am also experienced in theatre work, currently on the dep list for Six the Musical UK Tour and gigging the North West amateur theatre circuit.
I have been playing bass and performing in band settings for just over 10 years, and continue to refine my craft as a performer, musician and teacher. I am excited to offer lessons that encourage good technique, strong foundations and musicianship for beginner to advanced players.
