Nadia Wilson

Nadia Wilson is a Manchester based violinist and graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music. With over 15 years of playing experience, starting at age 6, she has had the opportunity to be part of many high level orchestras and ensembles from a young age, including, the National Children's Orchestra (which she now works for), National Youth Orchestra Inspire programmes, and more recently selected for various RNCM Projects including their Symphony Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall, Opera Orchestra, Session Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall, Side-by-side project with Manchester Camerata, and Chamber Orchestra with Violinist, Henning Kraggerud. She is an awardee of the Cherubim Music Trust, playing on a 2016 Jonathan Woolston Violin, and Emile Miquel bow.

This year she successfully auditioned for a place in the 1st Violin section of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) Orchestral Residency in July. Having the opportunity to rehearse and perform with a top UK orchestra will allow her to continue developing skills, supporting her towards a professional career.

Using this experience on top of her own love for teaching, Nadia would be delighted to teach violin to those of any age and level, supporting you towards your musical goals, ensuring you feel comfortable and accomplished during lessons.
