Beginners

Where do the lessons take place?
Our in-person lessons are held at Parkland Music, 21 Stamford Street, Altrincham, WA14 1EX, a convenient town-centre location with excellent transport links by tram, bus, bike, or car.
Do you offer trial lessons?
Yes. Trial lessons are available so students can meet the tutor, experience the teaching style, and decide whether the course is the right fit.
Do I need to bring my own instruments?
Students are encouraged to bring their own instruments. If you need advice on choosing or purchasing an instrument, our staff are happy to help.
Can I reschedule a lesson?
Yes, you may reschedule a lesson without extra charge if you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
What happens if the tutor cancels a lesson?
If a tutor needs to cancel a lesson, we will arrange a make-up lesson or provide a substitute tutor at no additional cost.
How do I pay for lessons?
A trial lesson must be paid in advance by card or online payment. All regular lesson fees are collected by Direct Debit only. A minimum of four lessons will be charged after the trial.
Do you prepare students for music exams?
Yes, we can prepare students for graded music exams such as ABRSM, Rockschool or Trinity, if this aligns with your learning goals.
