Hey, I'm Syd!

I've been passionate about music since I was very little. I started my journey with classical piano, but soon opened up to guitar, drums, and other instruments, as well as music production. I studied music theory, songwriting & arrangement, band studies, then graduated in music production at BIMM Manchester. I produce music for myself, as well as for bands and clients.

I've been playing in bands regularly since I was 13, from cover bands and personal projects to session work. My favourite genres are rock, pop, funk and fusion, hip-hop and RnB, extreme metal.

I've always loved teaching music. I focus on finding the right approach for each individual student, depending on their favourite style, desired goal, and current skill level. I will also prepare the student with specific work to practice on, such as recommended songs or practice methods tailored to them.
