Joseph Kwok

Joseph is a drum, guitar, cajon and ukulele tutor with nearly a decade of teaching experience. He holds Rockschool Grade 8 qualifications in Drum Set (Distinction) and Electric Guitar (Merit), and has guided over 90% of his students to achieve Merit or above in public examinations.

Specialising in pop, funk, blues, rock, K-pop, animated music, and neo-soul, Joseph creates lessons that are engaging, confidence-building, and carefully tailored to each student’s pace, goals, and musical taste.

Alongside teaching, Joseph is an active session musician who has performed at festivals, churches, schools, and community events. Now based in Manchester, he is passionate about inspiring the next generation of musicians.
