Megan Brown
Megan is an upper strings specialist who began learning the violin at the age of five, later taking up the viola at thirteen. She went on to study the viola at the University of Huddersfield under Dr David Milsom, graduating with honours in Music Performance.
Her studies covered a wide range of areas, including historical performance, music and education, analysis, and ensemble performance. During this time, she performed with notable ensembles such as the Opera North Youth Orchestra and the City of Birmingham Youth Symphony Orchestra. Music has taken her to many places, including performances at venues in Germany and Spain.
Since graduating, she has worked as a freelance musician and violin tutor, combining her performance experience with a strong passion for teaching and supporting students’ musical development.
